Retirement Henk de Proost

After 12 years working as a mechanic for Lareka, it is time for Henk de Proost to retire.

A couple of weeks ago, the Lareka factory turned into a party factory. We gathered together with former employees to honor the retiree. And what is the best way to celebrate retirement? A food truck with unlimited Dutch snacks and fries! 

Who knows Henk also knows that while he is a serious and hard worker, he also really enjoys socializing and he is always one of the last ones to leave a party. He was a big part of Lareka’s operations and he will certainly be missed around here. 

As a retirement gift for Henk we chose a corten steel silhouette of his tractor. Fun fact: it is a real representation of Henk’s tractor which he uses to carry his shepherds’ hut around!

A big thank you to Henk for all these years of fun and hard work!
